WHS Class of 1966 40^th year reunion ‘tidbits and highlights’.

 FRIDAY NIGHT/ JULY 28^th, 2006.  SAM’s PIZZA  (on business HWY old 51)

 

 John and Lynette Huber had tables set up to seat 150, but  most of us stood all night long just going from person to person or group to group  hugging and conversing ! 

A terrific turn out of people….pizza was great, and the only thing that had NOT changed ! Sam’s has , arguably , the BEST pizza !

   

Rob Brodhead arriving wearing his WHS letterman’s jacket !!!  …AND the great story of how Rob and Mary ‘met’.

 

Sue Shepherd Johnson looking like a celebrity, while in her wheelchair, as she awaits a knee replacement.  Doug said he placed her in the ‘middle of the room’, so as to ‘trip’ people !!!

Men discussing their life’s passions….motorcycles, golf, ‘other toys’…Fran Arndt’s discussion being ‘mistook’ as to about corvettes, when he really was discussing his past hernia surgeries !

 

Nancy Viertel Wadinski not attending due to a last minute call that Terry needed to be taken for medical care with a horrid case of kidney stones!!

It was a very HOT and humid night.  Lots of ‘dewy’ people…some of us used our reunion booklets to ‘fan’ ourselves…that is until Jan Dunn Zwolinski showed us how much better the Styrofoam plates worked !
