Class Trivia
We began our Senior year with a class of 710.
Our class had 641 graduates on June 8, 1966.
Jacque Fulmer and Christine Beatty were the commencement speakers.
Class Officers were: Doug Johnson, Rick Scott & Judy Willing .
Class Advisor was: Jerry Madison.
47 members of our class received scholarships and/or awards. (That was a record at the time).
Skyrocket co-editors were: Doug Johnson and Linda Moseman.
Senior Play: Reynard the Fox.
Wahiscan Editor: Julie Forrester.
Tophatters celeberated it's Silver Anniversary our senior year...25 years of their swing!
Our Lumberjack football team had a 7-2 season under Coach Win Brockmeyer. We 'shared' the Conference Title and the Big Rivers Crown.
The Junior Girls Holiday Dance theme of our senior year was 'DISCOTHEQUE'.
FBLA members managed Johnson Hill's Dept store on March 26, 1966.
'Harvey" was the Spring Play on May 4 & 5, 1966.
"A Taste of Honey" was the prom theme on May 6, 1966.
Mr. Marshall Taylor ended his 13 years at WHS by becoming Superintendent of Schools.
